I have used this model before. A pro is that it is very sensitive and will indicate live power when in the vicinity of a live cable without having to touch it. A con of this is that it can be difficult to identify a specific live cable in a bundle. A further pro is the inbuilt light. The con for this is that it is easy for the light to turn on accidently thus flattening the battery. Of course, if the light doesn't work the battery might be dead so the sensor doesn't work either... a good safety feature.

Only senses power when placed directly on power points and light switches, but does not sense wiring behind plasterboard walls. You get what you pay for, but somewhat disappointing.
