A model for all tastes and budgets
Coming from an old two head no pivot electric razor, the difference in comfort is incredible! Now three heads pivot independently five ways. Cleaning is a quick rinse through the heads and a flick of a button opens the drive unit with another rinse and leave to air dry. I place mine, open in the shower caddy. Even better its water proof! So either a quick dry shave or lather up and use over the sink or in the shower. Recharge via 240v plug when the little light tells you its time. I haven't recharged yet and that's using it 5 days a week for the last two weeks. Comes with a beard trimmer too. just pull the shaver head off and push the trimmer on. The instructions are only diagrams and I was very cautious at this point of possibly doing it wrong, but line up the guide and click it in. Overall for the cost compared to the other models with even more features this 5050 will suit me to a tee better than my previous Phillips electric razor and hopefuuly for as longVerified purchase: YesCondition: New

In short, a sad decline for what was once a good shaver
In regard to my previous shaver of the same make and model, i would rate this one a poor second, 1 it does not come with a case, 2 no brush for coleaning the heads, and 3 the time delay to re charge, 8 hours is to say the least, way to long, the previous model re charged with 1 hour, it came with a came and brush for head cleaning, so in conclusion i would NOT buy this unit againVerified purchase: YesCondition: New

i find it light and easy to use
i find it great and easy to use i would buy again its better for my face then a razor as they cut my face sometimes and the skin becomes reddish as u get to a age after a while but i shave each day and its smooth shaving with or with shave gel so i reccomend this product if u want to buy this from this company cheers i have no idea why people judge its cheap yes but works great im happy with it.

Fantastic shaver

Disappointed
Not a very good razor, although I followed the directions and charged the new Philips 5050/6 for eight hours, it gives a very poor shave, it runs very slow, it seems that I should have purchased a more expensive item, you only get what you pay for, I thought that buying a Philips product I would be getting an excellent razor, better luck next time.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New
