I purchased this kit to scavenge the front and rear seats for a classic rebuild for a friend, his '69 Chevelle SS396. Pros: After the necessary "re-purposing" survey, I became enamored with the detail, the styling, the pure class of the vehicle. I have only dry fit much of the car... what a nice piece! I am NOT a Chevy fan- w/e of the '64 Impala SS, both hardtop and convertible versions- this one I will build and display along side my '64s! NICE fit and finish- little problem with any of the versions, its a 3n1 kit- the instructions are clear and identifying parts and their locations is easy. Exterior/interior colors (color name not paint code) lists are a benefit for stock builders Extras: Tire/Wheel options galore- Cons: Decals- content (not composition)- the kit could benefit by having some nice pin striping in addition to the custom spread; also include some under the hood labeling decals. The custom steering wheel is 'cheesy.' Do not particularly care for the big, flat box packaging. Summary: nice Skill-level 2 kit that can be stepped up for advanced builders.Read full review

This was a good detailed model with tooling from the the original AMT of the 1970's. The parts were crisp and clean.
