Surprisingly Brilliant
I thought converting VGA to HDMI would be very difficult to do. I didn't have high expectations at first but this product is perfect. It works seamlessly with no drop outs. I am using this device to output from a computer (VGA) to a TV that has no VGA input. This was the perfect solution to do this. Instead of a HDMI cable, I am using a HDMI to CAT6 converter. This VGA to HDMI converter works perfectly even through the CAT6 converter. This means the signal is strong and clear. Now retired
This worked satisfactorily as far as video goes but the audio wasn't clean - a low volume 50 Hz hum was being picked up from somewhere. This could be anything from a dodgy power supply to lack of internal shielding or just a ground loop. After a month the adapter stopped working so it has been retired. I discovered my TV has VGA input so I'm using that. Sorry, I can't recommend this item. This price is great.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Poor Quality Conversion
I do have several other converters of various types & most perform well, but there are exceptions. Unfortunately this is one of them. The converted image is very fuzzy. Ok if all you want it for is a confirmation of signal but I couldn't sit & work with it at all. I do have two other VGA to HDMI converters very similar from JCAR (DigiTech) that I use & their quality is exceptional.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New
