A must have for a clean installation.
This worked so well with my Clarion NX702, I haven't had any issues with it so far. Whenever I want to have my wife control the DVD menu in my radio as im driving, she can do that with no issues but only to control the play or menu screen of a cartoon DVD playing for my kids in the back TV monitors. Eith out this chip mod I would have to use 1. The original e-Brake line engaged to make the changes while parked or 2. Use a power toggle switch to imitate the e-Brake. This is way cleaner and more of a professional installation. To be clear, We are strongly against playing movies while driving as it can become a distraction for you and get into an accident. So we only use this to simply control the menu screen to play DVD for our kids, we then switch the screen back to the Navigation Map.
