The PC in question only had 4 Gb and that was ok when running a 32 bit OS. Now it runs a 64 bit OS (thus a bit more memory consuming) so upgrading it to 8 Gb really made a difference. Now the performance is good enough for my retired mother and it will probably last her lifetime. My motherboard don't run it on 1066 MHz but on the other hand I didn't try to tweak the settings either. In my opinion it's better to have a stable system than chasing the last percent of performance.

New looks and works like new 100% even though it used hardware. I want the future to buy from you if I need additional hardware. I tested the memories 8 times and was not even a single error!!! Thank you

It fits the DDR2 Slot and the built in heat sink keeps the heat down for the Ram. It will only go as fast as the Buss will allow which is normal, but it doesn't slow (or clock down) if it can stay fast. It's value is reasonable for A DDR2 Stick of 4GB memory

Is labeled as PC2-8500 but BIOS only recognizes it as PC2-6400 (800 not 1066). But computer is noticeably improved-which is all that really matters. I had previously used true 1066 memory, 4 gb, so pc is capable of distinguishing the two. But would buy again.

My computer used to perform at an acceptable speed. Then, through using it, all of the "junk" that Microsoft allowed to pile on started slowing it down to the point I almost couldn't use it. By adding this memory my computer is performing like it used to.
