I already had a fairly good 17" screen HP laptop that was working fine, though carrying around the behemoth was starting to wear on me. I decided to get something differnt that had touch screen, light up keyboard, and could be folded into a tablet. I figured if it didn't have all those features I would just stick to the pc that I had. After talking to a friend of mine who is very much into computers I discovered that I would like to have an SSD drive as well. He also recommended Lenovo (up until now I've had one Gateway desktop and three HP laptops). As I was used to the 17 inch screen I didn't want to lose too much screen space. The Lenovo Flex 4 15" screen fit the bill. If you look at other reviews on this product there are several that are middle range to negative. I think a lot of those are actually referring to lower end specs. The one that I have is an absolute beast. 16 GB of Ram and a 250 GB SSD hard drive. The thing is lightening fast! From the time I turn it on I can be using it in about 5 seconds. Not an exaggeration. It performs very well in all modes, stand, computer, tablet, tent. I find that it is perfectly satisfactory as a tablet...keep in mind, it's still tiny compared to what I used to tote around. The only thing that I don't like (and I knew about going in based on other reviews) is the placement of the right shift key, though this was very easily fixed by downloading swiftkeys. I have switched the function of the page up arrow key to the shift key and vice versa. viola! problem solved! One day I may get up the courage to actually switch the physical keys--right now afraid that once I pop them off that I may not be able to get them back on. One last note... This particular machine cost me 649.00 as a refurb. Before you go thinking that is too much money check out the Lenovo website. The flex 4 15 with these specs runs 980.00! That's quite a bargain. I am a huge advocate of reading and reading and researching through reviews before I makek a purchase, though I've never actually written one before. I am so pleased with this that I wanted to give my two cents. If you are on the fence on getting this specced out version of the flex 4 do NOT hesitate. I would give it a 10 out of 5 if possible!Read full review

The Arrow Up key is where the Right-Shift key should to be. When typing this causes a lot of errors. You'll need to remap the keys to be able to type naturally. Really a stupid oversight in design by Lenovo.

The specs are almost at par with a MacBook Pro except maybe for the Display but I found the laptop to be mediocre in comparison. But as a Windows 10 laptop its quite a decent one for the price point. I will certainly recommend it.
