Oil & Vinegar Dispensers

Keep Your Kitchen Mess-Free with Oil and Vinegar Dispensers

Oil and vinegar dispensers make life easier and cleaner in the kitchen. Let’s face it. The bottles of oil and vinegar that you buy in the supermarket are often large and cumbersome. And they can certainly make a mess if you accidentally tip them over.

You can avoid this by decanting a small amount at a time into one of these dispensers. Plus, these dispensers look much more attractive on the table.

Different dispensing methods

Many oil dispensers are available either with a thin pouring spout or a spray mechanism. This gives you the choice of whether you want to drizzle your oil onto a salad or a measuring spoon or whether you want to spray it to coat a frying pan.

An oil dispenser with a spray mechanism also reduces the amount of oil you use because you can just spray the food you’re about to put into the oven rather than basting it. This is far cleaner and means you won’t be throwing any excess oil away after you’ve finished basting.

For vinegar dispensers, you’ll most likely want one with a thin pouring spout so you can measure out the vinegar evenly.

What kind of vinegar do you put into the dispenser?

This depends entirely on your taste and preference. You can use either red wine, white wine, rice, apple cider or even balsamic vinegar. It all depends on which vinegar you use the most. You can, of course, have a different dispenser for each type of vinegar that you commonly use.

Can you use oil and vinegar dispensers for other liquids?

You can put a variety of different liquids into an oil or vinegar dispenser.  For example, soy sauce is popular with people who cook a lot of Asian foods. You could also make your own salad dressing with olive oil and balsamic vinegar and keep this in one of the dispensers with the pouring spout.
