Outstanding tongs
I love these sturdy, well made tongs. I love how they have a locking position and how they are strong enough to pick up heavier foods with ease because they aren’t flimsy metal. Overall I think they are great, I’ve had mine for about 5 years and I bought two more of these tongs recently to Gift to people I know.

Sometimes Does NOT Work Properly
Tongs would spontaneously open by itself. So "locking" mechanism did NOT work well. From reviews, I see that this is not UNcommon - in addition, I have seen reviews that state sometimes they cannot be UNLOCKED. I'm sure that this is a defect since many people love them. However, the ones I had opened (because of the spring mechanism) so rapidly and hard, I was afraid they would chip glasses and china.
