Small fly reels only please
Quite a nice pouch for a really small fly reel, especially if you like to have the cover fitted with the reel on your rod. However, for anything above 3 inches (7.5 cm) in diameter, the cut of the neoprene is really too mean to offer much protection and you'll find too much of the reel is left exposed to knocks and abrasions. The neoprene is thin too. Instead, go for a thicker pouch of at least 3mm, with sides that come right up to meet the base of the flap if you want to protect your reel.
