I bought this as my ST1300 was suffering from the lower tank, hot fuel pump "heat" syndrome and it was certainly very well priced, compared to buying the full pump/filter/plumbing module Honda wanted to sell me. The pump is spinning happily so far. I did discover I had to reuse the existing round rubber base to keep it within Honda's existing mounting bracket. I think I ended up using the larger rectangular t bag filter folding it gently to fit in the Honda's Brillo pad casing. It amazes me that fuel pumps and electrical wiring sits inside a tank with fuel & vapors etc. Still I guess if there are no sparks there won't be a problem. I am sure with some ingenuity one could fashion an external pump & filter. Guess its just finding some spare space of which there is not a lot of. I enjoyed the challenge of this task, not overly hard. Just be very safe and take all due care around the exposed petrol working. Cheers Steve Read full review

Bought this pump for my cbr500r after my OEM died. The pump looked great had good reviews. The pump fit into the assembly perfectly and everything seemed great tested the pump and it seemed to work, however I couldn't actually get the bike to start at all after putting this punp in. I wasn't too sure what was going on. I took the pump back out and bench tested it again in a bucket of petrol and it seemed to have no issues, so once again I put it back into the assembly and into the bike but still the bike wouldn't start. After countless tests and tried and retries and new fuel I found that this pump wasn't actually giving enough pressure to the injectors to deliver fuel. I ended up buying a second hand assembly and pump out of a wrecked 500r. After yet again pulling the old pump out, putting the new (second hand) pump assembly in the bike Fired straight up no hesitation and has been running fine since. I'm not sure what's gone wrong with this pump but it's not actually delivering the required pressure to the injectors in either assembly's and after multiple tests. The punp however is sturdy and appears to be well made, the fitment is perfect for the cbr500r in tank assembly and the seals that come with it are the right size. I'm just dissapointed that it didn't work. Judging by everyone else's reviews I'm thinking I might have just gotten the short straw and gotten a dodgy or malfunctioning one. I will be returning this item.Read full review

easy fit, the orginal rubber boot on base doesn't fit perfectly, but well enough to not cause problems. Everything else is spot on to the original unit. No noticeable difference with the " 20% flow"

This pump was a buy i just based purely on reviews. It is cheap and works great in my 2010 husaberg fe450. It had all the kit to install and fitted prefectly. bike starts first stroke now compared to 10 + turn overs before. After approx 500 + Km it is still working so very happy. I wish i saw this kit for my other bike. which i paid $220 for a pump. Great quality but maybe kemso would have been just as good.

My Kawasaki Er-6n 2008 fuel pump was having problems to turn on, 8 out of 10 times the fuel pump wasn't getting started when turning the key on and was often making a whining or howling noise just like bomb device is on, haha. Anyway, I fitted the new fuel pump and that noise is even louder and constant, seems that it is going to blow up at any moment. I really don't think that is working normal.
