The book was very good. We had a son who had similar issues and we tried everything and at the end he also did not make it. Just makes you feel that some mental illness just hard to move forward.

I found that Danielle's 'love' for her son was more of an obsession. An obession that might have been more harmful than helpful to him. It was a real shame that he took his life so early, he seemed to be a very bright, ambitious, very hansome person. Someone who could have given a great deal to society. Our loss

Fantastic book, great insight to mental illness. Loved it. Danielle projects her thoughts very well and explains the many issues related to her son's illness. A very good read especially for those of us who might be dealing with similar situations with a family member. I have been reading her books for quite some time now, but to read a true story involving her life is especially enlightening. I really didn't know she had gone through this with a son whom is no longer with us. God Bless Danielle for sharing with us!
