It is a great idea that works good but could be great with a few improvements. Its heavy and could use a set of side handles instead of the "reliefs" at the bottom sides, that are hard to get a grip on. The wire mesh on the basket is really hard to clean. It would help if it was coated with "non Stick" of some kind. Has some nice accessories available but they are way too $$$ for what they are. One or 2 of them could be included with the price you pay for this fryer in the first place. I think for what you are buying for the price its way overpriced also. These are nothing more than a reshaped convection toaster oven in a different form. No super future technology here , just a heating element and a fan. The manufacturers are just profiteering from them using the its "Healthy way to cook". If you have a convection toaster oven you don't need to buy one of these you already have one that has a much larger capacity.Read full review

I love the french fries out of this, but the basket area is to small to make enough of anything for both my husband and myself. Other than that it works well. I did try salmon in it and it was also good, although the thinner edges of the meat was over cooked.

Philip Air Flyer is well design and compact. It is easy to use and it is ideal for frying about one pound of French Fries or chicken leg drum or other meat. It is safe to use and the timer allow to the user to set and forget the frying process. The cleaning is moderately easy. The food does stuck to the net below but it can be removed by warm soapy water. It should also be noted that it is a frying process and some frying smell does comes out from the vent on the back of fryer.

I have had it about a week and love it. So far I've made rib eye steak, pork chops, lamb chops, chicken breast, Cornish hens, asparagus, grilled peppers and onions, French fries, and tonight I'm trying salmon. Everything has been wonderful. My only complaint is that I did not see anywhere on the ebay description that the item I was buying had temperatures listed in Celsius and not Fahrenheit. So every time I get a recipe I have to ask Siri to make the conversion for me so I know what to set the temps at. It's a small thing but worth mentioning.

Philips Air Fryer is exactly what I wanted. It is small and portable, and doesn't heat up my kitchen when I use it. I've cooked a variety of frozen items (fries, tater tots, frozen pizza bites, chicken nuggets) and they have cooked perfectly crispy, in minamal amount of time and without oil. I look forward to continuing to use and learn more about this product.
