Great Fryer!
This fryer is perfect in every way except one. It is a large capacity fryer, but could stand to be deeper. You almost have to fry everything in a single layer. in it's defense, the large basket is a lot wider than most, and it comes with 2 smaller baskets, for cooking two different items at once. my experience with this product
Bad experience totally disappointed. How do I return it. One friday I invited my relative over for a flounder, perch and oyster fry. all my seafood was prepped and ready to go. I plugged i n the fryer set the temp and timer. inside 10 min the green light appeared and the digital temperature indicated the cooking oil was up to temp. i submerged my seafood expecting that initial sizzle. Disappointed non of my exceptions were met. The cooking oil never reached the proper temperature for cooking. Cleaned it ONCE AND IT CRAPPED OUT
SO, I'm a chef and I used this fryer at work for quite sometime after being impressed with it, I raved about it to my partner and was pleasantly surprised when this arrived at our doorstep! From work, I knew that the heating element could NOT be submerged in water and as a result I was very careful in cleaning it at home. Unfortunately, after cleaning it ONCE after my FIRST USE AT HOME the machine's heating element no longer turns on. I am so disappointed and even though it's a product I am familiar with I will never recommend any person to buy this because once you clean the element it won't work and you'll be left stuck. I purchased an Avantco countertop fryer and that has been working fairly well for me. I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND THIS WARING FRYER TO ANYONE!!!Verified purchase: YesCondition: Refurbished

I can't believe that they ask if it is easy to clean? No deep fryer is easy to clean! The only thing that I don't like about it is, I wish they would have a lip on both sides of the basket, so you can lift the basket without holding it. Otherwise I would have given it 5 stars. All in all a good buy
Perfectly meets the needs of my small food business (I have 5 of these model). Sturdy, accurate, fast temperature recovery given the size and the fact that I fry from frozen. The only complaint is the 'safety' power cord. It disconnects too easily, making it a nuissance, so I had to modify the fryers with a regular power cord. Very good small cooker
We needed a second fryer when we do a big cooking of fish. I like this electric fryer because the temperature stays more consistent than does propane. This newer model has a feature that alerts you when the oil recovers to the set temperature which takes some of the guesswork out of cooking. This unit is refurbished and is working well.
I cooked 8 wings about 6 minutes at 375 and they were perfect. Homemade fries drop in at 325 for 5 minutes (first drop) and the second drop at 375 for five more, crispy and moist. The recovery time from 325 to 375 is about 5 minutes, I am pleased with that. I have run commercial fryers and based on the volume and load capacity, this unit has an amazing recovery rate. Set it outdoors to fry as there is no filter. I do my frying on the deck. This unit draws 1800 watts and must be plugged directly into the wall outlet or an air conditioner style extension cord that is rated at 15-20 amps.Verified purchase: YesCondition: Refurbished
