This is my second GW-3000. This is the colorway I wanted, with the blue font, but I picked up the other one with white and orange font and hands, with blue accent and orange band, because it was otherwise the same watch, but nearly half the price (although I got an exceptionally good deal). That one I replaced the orange band, but I still had an itch for the blue one. I ended up with the this one, which comes with a metal composite band. It is a nice band, but I don't think it looks that great with this watch, because it is relatively skinny, so I got another black resin, which looks much better, and is also more comfortable. In the end, I blew a bunch of cash, and I like both watches quite a bit. I generally prefer to wear all digital or ani-digi G-shocks, for comfort and function, but I enjoy these all analog versions as well. The GW-3000 is nice because it is a little smaller in diameter (although still quite thick) and wears a little smaller on the wrist then many other models. These are tough, good looking watches. The version with the orange font, which is otherwise identical, regularly sells new for at least $100 less then the blue, so if you like orange, go with that one. I like them both, but felt like I needed the blue for some inexplicable reason. Enjoy!Read full review

A beautiful watch. A real pita to program but we'll worth it. Nice to llok at. Stainless band makes it a little hear but that's not a hard fix with a Casino resin band. Very striking in appearance. I would recommend it to others.

The watch is a beautiful watch and quite comfortable. Its very precise except for the atomic time keeping function. That didn't work. Even though I was well within range, I couldn't get a ping. Too bad, I liked it.
