This box (prise/wise) speaking, offers good features when it comes to get better picture quality of your dreamcast, unfortunately there's a little noise on the image when it comes to 3d games but on 2D content, the image is very clear and can't notice the noise. Also the build up quality is not really good, so I suggest to not move it or unplug it very often, otherwise have the feeling of breaking it. Overall would say is good for the money but if you want to get 100% quality in both video and hardware, look for another option.

I have to say I tried one of those cable only vga leads for the dreamcast first, I know, I know, no surprise really when it didn't work. I saw this and figured yeah, what the hell, it was brand new and didn't cost a ridiculous amount like some others, I'm glad I gave it a go, The picture quality on my 40" was stunning. I couldn't believe how good it looked, was a definite purchase I would make again in a heartbeat. Thanks for an awesome product. I'd recommend it. I never experienced anything other than a crisp clear picture, just the way you would want it to be.

This VGA box works, but that's where everything good ends, I had it for quite a while and always had these nasty ghosted vertical lines down the screen no matter what cable I used, they can be hardly noticeable but I would only recommend this box if you want to use the S-Video (which works ok) or you absolutely have to use a PC monitor. I also had to recently get a new one after 2 years of use the cable became loose and I would lose some of the colours ending up with a blue picture. If you aren't rough with the box and don't have to keep unplugging it then it should last you a while but the cable connection is flimsy.
