The main reason I purchased this was of the battery's. It uses 2 AA battery's. For just a point and shoot camera that's great. I really don't know why more company's do that. I came across a Canon that did, but haven't really tried any others. Ease of use is pretty much in the way you use it, as with any P & S camera. There are many other ways to get more out of this little shirt pocket camera. Stills, profiles, fireworks and night time are just a few. I have one problem with the zoom. I can't seem to get it right in focus at long distance. I did get a small tripod for it. and that has helped. Not sure what more you need to know or that I can tell you. I did take the carry strap off because it seemed it was always getting in the way of close ups. Oh, the port to upload your pic's using the usb, is in a not good place. If my tripod is on, I have to unscrew it to get the little rubber cover off. I guess the other thing is just to remove the Smart card, and plug into your laptop or tablet. I have a bigger Nikon that uses 4 AA's and it's just great.Read full review

It's 20.1 megapixels but everything is blurry I messed with the settings and no matter what it's blurry. It feels very cheap. It's just overall not a good camera to take good quality pictures

Pros: Ease of Use. A straight forward digital compact camera. It features 20.1 megapixels, this kind of resolution is huge. It has a Smart Portrait mode that will enable a Smile Timer which will take a picture automatically as soon as it detects a smile in the frame - even if you don't press the button. Accompanying that is a Blink detection system and Skin softening software to reduce blemishes. Cons: The batteries slot into the bottom of the Nikon Coolpix L28 along with the memory card and the physical size of them is what makes the bulge in the front. Bottom-line: A great resolution affordable camera.
The Nikon CoolPix was easy to learn to operate; the instructions were not hard to follow. The pictures were so clear and sharp I just could not believe that such a camera could produce it. The speed and resolution were so excellent than when I took a picture of a fan that was turned on "High", the blades looked as though the fan was off. And in addition to all this, the camera looks really cool!

Even for a klutz like me this camera is easy to use and takes great pictures.I mostly use it for EBAY but its also handy just to have around. The total package, which included a foam case, teeny weeny tripod and more, made it an even better deal.Much, much better value than the sorry little camera I bought at a big blue store.{for the same money}This one even included the memory chip! Be aware, this is a rebuild but so far so good.
