This mic is well worth more than what it costs. It captures the person's voice clearly with a nice warm touch. Definitely beats the SM-58 in all situations. Handling is very well balanced. It feels sturdy but the real tests is in how it sounds. Compare this mic with other mics. You will continue to compare this mic with others and in the final analysis choose this as being the winner. Not a bad "cheap mic" really. Handling noise is higher likely due the absence of any apparent capsule isolation system.. looks like it's just glued in there, but the capsule does have what I think is a very useful response with a bit more mid/high output than the ubiquitous SM58 so it should work well on a stand in noisy environments and/or with soft speaking vocalists.Verified purchase: YesCondition: Pre-owned

Love this mic
The best mic I have found (so far) that cuts thru in loud rehearsal rooms. I sing hard rock and sometimes it's tough to be heard without intense feedback issues. I had tried out one of these mics at a jam and asked the sound-man about it. I bought one the same week. I have used it once so far and loved it. You can't beat this mic for the price. I haven't used this for tracking, but it's perfect for my practice studio: vocals and mic'ing instruments into the PA. Sweet sound and awsome price
I replaced againg Shure SM58's with these after buying one as a test. Much crisper highs than the 58's and the total harmonic range is wider. Feel is solid and well constructed i was surprised to say the least and this mic performed flawlessly.
