I purchased this item for my mother to relieve her aches and pains. However she is not happy with it as the heat is not hot enough even when on number 3. It seems to stay on the same heat level on all three levels. She previously had another brand which was of made of a different material which was excellent and the heat seemed to penetrate better. However, this brand has now also changed the material to the same as the HeatBuddy and does not heat as well as their old style.
