Not mega fast, but the fastest you'll find for the money. A great value drive, I've recommended it to many friends who have all been happy. My only complaint is that it's too small. Testing Sandisk CZ43 64GB on USB3.0
I got the flash drive few days ago, and made test of it's speed and capacity. I'm using Linux Mint system, so here you can use f3write / f3read program. So, my results on USB3.0: f3write Average writing speed: 21.28 MB/s f3read Data OK: 57.82 GB (121247840 sectors) Data LOST: 0.00 Byte (0 sectors) Corrupted: 0.00 Byte (0 sectors) Slightly changed: 0.00 Byte (0 sectors) Overwritten: 0.00 Byte (0 sectors) Average reading speed: 73.91 MB/s p.s. Almost an SSD
I'm actually using this as a boot drive for Windows 10, and it's blazing fast. It delivers 70MB/s read and 40MB/s write, even with non-sequential files (which are traditional HDDs' achilles heel). If you are needing some storage that isn't hanging out of you device waiting to be knocked out then this compact range is for you. If you want fast reading speeds this definitely is for you. However writing speeds were much lower. Not much more than 30mb/sec under ideal conditions and usually slower. Very Slow with large file transfers
Found to be very slow read/write speeds after a few seconds of transferring larger files. Transfer would start at around 100MB/s but would quickly drop to around 15MB/s. Also found that some devices would hang while reading from this device.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New
