Great Sound and Great Value!
I have purchased Rockford Fosgate Punch amps for years and they were strong, reliable and efficient! When my daughter blew the speakers in the car that we gave her that my wife had been driving we looked for some good reasonably priced midrange speakers. Well, we were surprised, these were definitely reasonably priced but the sound quality was comparable to much higher level speakers. I tend to run toward high level Infinity, Polk, Alpine etc. and if you do as well you will be extremely pleased with these Rockford Fosgate speakers!!!! When it is time for new speakers for my other vehicles as long as the long term quality is there then I will not hesitate to use these as replacement for my current speakers. I drive my speakers hard and both daughters do as well and these are taking the power and delivering great sound! Plan on using some speaker putty strips to keep them airtight so they don't vibrate or whistle. I happened to have some laying around. I paired these with the ROCKFORD FOSGATE R1675X2 6.75" 2-Way Coaxial Car Audio Speaker/ 6-3/4" Prime and Sony MEX-XB100BT CD/MP3 Car Stereo W/Bluetooth+400W Built in Amp!! 2016 RAM 1500 Big Horn
Speaker housing is slightly too big for the door liner housing. Need 3/16"-1/4" spacer for it to fit properly. Dont go bigger than that or the door panel will hit the mid and high range speakers because they stick out so far. TRUST ME. Anyways they sound way better than the factory speakers. Huge difference over the stock speakers
I replaced the stock speakers in my 2008 Dodge Ram 1500 with these plus another set of Rockford Fosgate speakers. The difference in sound was amazing. The RF speakers have much heavier magnets than the stock units as well. Installation was not difficult but I would definitely recommend buying the adapter plugs for the stock wiring harness, that made things way more simple. Like everyone else i was skeptical about the speaker and the price once they came i didnt hesitate to put them in they fit great in my 06 charger rt and I couldn't be happier with the crisp clear sound ive always been told the pricer the speaker the better the quality but in this item the quality came with a low price and who doset want Rockford Fosgate speakers??? The speakers came well packaged and were eas The speakers look nice and sound great. I installed these in 2014 Camry. Because the shape of the grill in the Camry made me be I was going to be removing 6x9s I bought these nice RFs. Surprise the stock speakers are cheap 6.5 in a 6x9 speaker mount.
