Don't buy the Breville.
I decided to spend more on a new toaster in the hope that it browns evenly. Sadly, even on a high setting half the elements only browned 1 side. Having to turn the toast around and redo it again is not acceptable on a $200 plus toaster. Then when contacting support, I am asked to supply a video of the problem and other hoops to jump through, so I threw it in the bin, 3 days old, and bought a cheap supermarket $29 toaster that straight out of the box worked better than the new bells and whistle Breville. Never buying an expensive toaster again. We put a man on the moon over 50 years ago but still can't get a toaster to brown both sides evenly when they all use cheap wire elements to brown toast. Best Thing Since Sliced Bread!
Having been married for over 35 years we have gone through our fair quota of toasters. We have just retired a Kogan 4 slice Toaster that was about as useful as fly-wire screens on a submarine. We stayed at a motel in Lakes Entrance that had one of these Breville toasters supplied in the kitchen; it was magic! Perfect toast every time for the 4 of us, Love the 'Little bit More' and the "have a Peek' functions. It's the 1st time I can remember the crumpets being right 1st time / every time.
