Plug in to the Lenovo T420 laptop's USB. Plug in the Bose headphone gen 1 with noise canceling into the DAC audio socket. Played the same song, and instrumental music, I had listen from the same laptop's audio pin. I was surprised with the audio melody streaming from the DAC and my body start moving with the music rhythm. A colleague borrowed it to compare it with his FiiO amp, no DAC feature and he was surprised the sound quality and ordered K1 right away. Wow didn't know music can be so good on cheap headphones and speakers

Original Fiio and worth the cost.
The main thing, is original. The DAC works great with a mac, i only needed to connect to the USB port and all worked great, the sound quality is great, the music sound crispy and clear. I was disappointed when I received my brand new Audio Technica ATH-M70x headphones. The sound was pretty flat and boring.
