Unreal Sound, Phenomenal Product!
I can't say enough good things about the BFSD! I like my snare batter head relatively tight for good stick response when playing ghost notes, but I also love the sound of that 70's/80's fatback snare. Now, with the simple addition of this guy, I get the best of both worlds! Easy on, easy off. It allows me to play shows that cover a wide range of styles with just a single snare drum! Most products out there only partially live up to their hype but the BFSD far exceeds it!!

Great fat sound
I have a friend who has owned this for several years and plays on it daily. It has held up. I was using a cutout drum head but always dealt with tape to keep it flat. With a finger cutout you can remove this mid song effortlessly. Great product.
