    Great pre-Thunderbolt laptop dock

It's amazing being able to walk to my desk and plug in exactly and only one cord, then have my two monitors light up and my laptop be charging. Of course, this is exactly the gap Thunderbot 3 docks fill for newer laptops without the proprietary connector, but since my Lenovo laptop is just barely too old for that, this dock does a great job.

  • Top critical review

    Works,

I have another one of these docks that works perfectly fine. This purchased dock is faulty with its video output ports. The video signal does not come out clean and cannot be used for an extended monitor with any reliability. The other ports and the single plug in to the ThinkPad works fine.

  • Good product

Good product, it has a screen flash but could be a monitor driver I will get to it later.

  • Must-have for Thinkpad Carbon X1

My Thinkpad had a flimsy USB port. Now I have a plethora of crisp USB3 ports! This docking station is very convenient: lots of powerful ports, including two displays and power, with a single well-designed connector.

  • Exactly what i wanted

Just wanted a used but good condition one link dock and this was it. Condition was used, obviously used, but so was the price. Once all the drivers were installed everything worked like a charm.

  • Good condition and easy to use

I have a Thinkpad X1 carbon 4th gen, with is the last one that goes with onelink+ port. The dock is easy to use and setup the driver automatically when I plug in to my computer. There are DP ports on the dock which I found very useful.

  • A valuable product

Ordered it from Sweden -- the shipment and the product itself is superb. It greatly enhanced my work experience with the many ports and charging function. I recommend it!

  • Lenovo ThinkPad OneLink Plus Dock - 40A40090US (Ultra HD Video, 4k Output)

This may be an "older" technology for my Lenovo Thinkpad....meaning it is a discontinued item no longer available from Lenovo. However, this one I purchased was new out of the box and the Seller provided all the information I needed to make an informed decision. Needed to update the drivers and occasionally needs to be power cycled on/off but other than that, it works great.

  • Works well as a dock and adds outputs not directly available

The dock only works with a powersupply connectd, and appears to use a USB hub for all of the USB outputs, and a DisplayPort Multi-Stream Transport to get two outputs out of a single interface. The rest of the outputs connect directly. It works well for having a single interface for connect the charger and all of the outputs available directly on the laptop, as well as others not directly available, like Ethernet. The throughput is quite high, with video, USB, and Ethernet each having their own buses.

  • Onelink+ does not work

Could not get onlink+ dock to work. Keeps coming up with "power surge on usb port" errors. Could not connect to internet via ethernet either. I have a 4th generation X1 carbon series Lenovo laptop and I have another onelink+ dock at my other office, which does work.
