Solid performer
Prior to purchase I did some homework on the performance of this meter, checking YouTube and the various reviews around. The reviews were consistent, painting a solid meter performance, so went ahead and purchased it. Now that I have the meter, I just get on with it and use it. This meter not being my first, hence I already was comfortable with meters and what they needed to do. To it’s credit, the UNI-T just does the job. I do particularly like the display bar graph with rapid update. The 0.1% DC voltage precision has been useful for recalibration purposes of my precision power supply. I've taken some timeout to note some of the extra features, including the added precision, the PC data interface and logging and expect to enjoy these features more, as needed. As no meter is perfect, a few of things to note. The included probes were very ordinary, so I replaced them with a higher quality set. No auto power off feature. So, you need to remember that the meter is running. Battery life is expected to be very long, so won't get too stressed over it. There is no backlight, but since I never had a meter with this feature before, I don't miss it; besides the display is crisp and should I need to be working in a dimmly lit area, I'm likely to have portable lighting to ensure that my probing is accurate and safe anyway.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New
