These DPM models have great details, and are easy to build, but I have the same gripes with them as I always have: No plastic roof...just a flimsy plastic-coated piece of material that you'll have to cut to size, and mount on tiny little rails that come with the kit (I threw these out and used thicker wood sticks instead. Much more solid). No decent windows...just another piece of flimsy, translucent film that you have to cut to size. And no graphic window inserts or signs; you'll have to download your own and customize it. BUT...these are decently-priced in comparison to other brands like Walthers models, which are pricier, but come with more stuff. For the price, you can't go wrong with DPM models as really detailed fillers in your layout...once you paint them, of course. For customization, I chose Benny's, which is a Rhode Island-based retail chain that just recently went out of business. They've been a Rhode Island institution since 1924. Sad to see them go. All in all, DPM makes a solid model, and I enjoy building them. The painting takes the longest, and the assembly is quick and easy. I've got my eyes on a couple more of them!Read full review
