It's great!
I moved my Betta (his name is Hades and I love him) to a 12L tank with this heater in it and he's just become so much happier! He's so active now and it's great to see him so happy :) He also likes to rest on the little suction cup that holds the heater pad in place and I think that's adorable!

Good for smaller tanks
We have an 11lt tank with a Siamese fighter. We put it on over night and the glass is tepid to the touch in the AM. Winter is starting and that part of the house is quite cool. So far the fish seems pretty happy and moving freely, no dormant behaviour.
