I am indicating that this is a good quality product at a good value because after a month it has done fine. The last one that I had shorted out after about six months, but that was a different brand. Samsung dryer element
Product appears to be cheap made , but so did the original part . Dryer is 6 years old , didn't expect it to go out since it's just me and my wife that lives here. But shortly after we bought our matching set of front loader Samsung washer and dryer , I heard that Samsung's were made with cheap parts . Well I tend to believe it too , but we will see if the replacement element last as long or longer than the original equipment element did . Replaced Samsung Dryer heater element
I repair our washers and dryers and some other things .. piece of cake to replace . In general I repair at least once which will double the appliance life ... I recommend taking a cell phone photo of the 6 connections to the heater element module . Two connections for the heater element , two for the temperature sensor and two for the over temperature sensor .. the heater element and temperature sensor and the over temperature sensor are all in series. Remember to disconnect power first . I forgot to connect the door sensor and got a door alarm which I corrected. I expect many more years life from this appliance. The heater element could be designed as a FRU module but appliances are not designed with this in mind.

Exact Match to the Original Part
Exact Replacement Part that matched the original part. While Samsung does not make their products easy to disassemble, when I was able to get to the old heating element, the new part was very easy to install. After the initial "burn in" my dryer is working better than before the old element burned out. Couple of Comments: 1) eBay had the best price on the web 2) If you have a long dryer vent line (from the dryer to outside the house), Buy a Dryer Vent cleaner brush with the flexible extensions and clean out the vent line. My dryer vent line runs at least 30 feet from the utility room in the center of the first floor, over the garage, and out the side of the house. Over the 26 years that I have owned my house, I would once every 2-3 years use my leaf blower to blow out the line. I would get some lint to blow through and I thought I was doing O.K.. Using a 40 foot lint kit, scrubbing back and forth from the inside and outside, several times, and in between each scrub, I used my leaf blower. I was surprised to get cumulative basketball and a half size ball of lint out the line.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

No technician visit needed when heat goes out.

Just what I needed
The coil came as expected, the correct part for my 2010 Samsung Electric Front load dryer. I have had this machine now for 10 years, and this is the 3rd time of having to replace this part. The first time, I think it was on Sears, then I replaced the 2nd and 3rd time by following the many well done repair videos. This repair is fairly straight forward and this part worked perfectly, back in business in a few hours. Note: connecting the electric connectors on this part was easy once to figured out that I needed a needle nose plier to bend the catch of the contact to the ceramic base in the heater section.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New
