Final Destination (2000) Two of the chief creators of 'The X Files' have finally been given the chance to make their own movie...and if you've grown bored with the endless teen-thriller sequels, here is one fresh, original and totally bizarre new take on the theme. Death has a plan and Alex Browning (Devon Sawa from Idle Hands) has ruined it. After having a premonition that the filght he and his school group are about to take will explode mid-air, he tries to warn everyone. Of course, no-one believes him. With a handful of classmates, (including Dawson's Creek's Kerr Smith and Ali Larter from Varsity Blues) he's thrown off the flight before it takes off. When the plane bursts apart just after take-off, Alex realises he has cheated death... And now it's time for payback. One by one, the survivors begin to die in horrific, mysterious circumstances. Now that Alex has figured out death's plan, can he do anything to alter the destiny that awaits him? Just when you think you know who will get it next, this smart, sharp and chilling thriller throws another plot twist into the mix.Final Destination 2 (2003) You can't cheat Death.     HIGHLY RECOMMENDED VIEWING!!!

    You might think that this is probably just another teen movie set - but I loved them all! There are very few movies that are engaging right from the start but these certainly are - and the fun continues to the end. Actually, I was looking for something to help me switch off at the time and this was the only thing that made me relax and stop thinking about my work. Highly recommended!!!
