Blur’s album is fantastic. My only gripe is why they released it on two discs. This is a bit en vogue for rereleases if 90s albums on vinyl at the moment and I just don’t get it. Every three songs you have to get up to spin it over. As a result, it’s not one you’ll put on a lot because of the hassle involved in playing it.

To answer the question in another review, 90s albums are reissued on 2 discs to improve sound quality on longer albums. The original lps pushed the acceptable limits of side length, necessitating big compromises in stereo space, tonal range, volume and clarity (music cut near the label tends to distortion owing to the angles involved in playback)
