This is the 6th VH album and the last to feature vocalist David Lee Roth for a fair while. There are some interesting background stories behind this album, one of which is that it chased Michael Jackson's Thriller in the charts for 5 weeks (Eddie H played on that). Retro placed (by Rolling Stone) in the 100 Best Albums of the 80s, this is a strong album. Eddie VH had also discovered the synthesizer as he'd been building his own recording studio. This is probably one of my favourite VH albums. I'm also a sucker for album artwork, this one being censored in Britain. This cherub/putto holding a stolen candy cigarette brings memories of my British childhood. Nuf said.
