About this product

Product Information

The Penguin marks a major breakthrough in the battle to beat health problems created when computer users spend too much time handling a conventional mouse. It sets new standards of protection against a range of upper limb conditions such as repetitive strain injury (RSI) and carpal tunnel syndrome (CTS) by enabling right and left hands to share the workload and avoiding exaggerated movements of the wrist joint that can increase pressure on the soft tissues in the carpal tunnel. Regular switching of hands throughout the day helps prevent static muscle strain (SMS) in the arm and shoulder - a major source of discomfort in mouse work.

  • Not a good Long term solution for me but useful on occasion!

It's a Nice break from your regular mouse, like if you are sore from using your regular mouse. Does help to relieve that fixed hand sore arm, However even though it's USB powered it turns off on you making it annoying to have to click a button to turn it back on (which over time causes a lot of extra clicks. Also it's not so easy to move around with your hand on the base as designed. Has 3 rate DPI settings with a tiny button in the bottom which helps to dial it in but that button also changed my regular mouse DPI in so making it not the speed I want so have to set that back when done using this mouse. It is a good temporary relief from fatigue of my normal mouse and I use it from time to time for a day. if you can get to like it always it maybe okay for you to use full time. Me No. It's an interesting IDEA and does change easily for right or left hand clicking the bow tie switches the wheel direction is all. Cool but the way I see it is it need improvements.
