A neat, durable French Press for making coffee afield. Good coffee with about 4 tbsp per 3 cups. Being Titanium, it is uninsulated and can burn you; the water will cool quickly, so one should make the exact amount for the number of drinkers, and not extra. I was hoping it would nest with my other Snow Peak cups and such, but it does not. I can fit my Snow Peak Giga Max stove inside of it, but not the fuel canister. We’re loving it!
First just let me say... I love all Snow Peak Items! That being said it does work well. I’m not the coffee drinker in the family, but my husband loves it. As you know with any French Coffee Press you can get grounds in your coffee, but this one produced very little grounds. Wish it was all TI the press parts are steel.
The cup and lid are TI but the plunger and press parts are stainless steel besides the extra weight it works fine, but now I have to replace all the SS parts with handmade titanium.
