Audio Technica 1240 turntable is great for a novice to experienced dj or an avid music listener . It is a quality direct drive table that seems almost like it was made directly for djing , it's super sexy design is great for the club. I like the digital pitch control although when transitioning from 1200's took some time to get used to . The buttons make a click sound so you know they were pushed . I actually prefer this deck to the technics sl1200 . It's a solid heavy deck that you can tell is high quality...

A very professional turntable as the description says, looks awesome. Features such as an immediate stop function, handy when wanting to verify certain cuts on your vinyl. Also an ingenious light that directs illumination onto the vinyl for exact placement of cartridge/preferred song selection. Classy. Does not come with cartridge, plenty available out there for a reasonable price. Bottom line, sounds fantastic playing my 40 year old vinyls. Very pleased. Many artists releasing vinyls of their new releases. Have not used the usb line to digitize my albums at this time but comes with digital software and RCA connectors.

This is a very well-designed table, and some nice improvement over the Technics SL1200 MK2 from a functional standpoint. HOWEVER, it's not for audiophiles, nor for serious actual club use. If you tap on the body of the table, the vibration goes right through to the cartridge and sounds like a bass hit. Which means that it's not isolated as much as a 1200, and bass will be affected due to feedback through the table body. I have a silicone rubber mat on the platter right now, not sure if cork would improve it more. I've owned 2 1200's since the early '80s for DJing, and I bought the AT table for my audiophile rack. I would look elsewhere if I were buying this again. Shame, it's a fantastic table with nice features otherwise.

I've always had low-quality record players. Then CDs came along and I never looked back. Until now. This turntable is how I relax during the evenings. My wife and I watch less TV now. We love to listen to records instead. This is a fantastic turntable and it has become a prized possession.

Even though I haven't had a chance to connect the AT-LP1240 Turntable with my system, the package came on time, and everything looks as good as new. What a great price, what a great turntable!

These have a different feel from the 1200s. The drive motor is definitely an improvement. The pitch is smooth and accurate. Good build quality all around. I hope they last for years. Time will tell.

This product is amazing, I am a novice with vinyls, I was able to order a cartridge/needle ( SHURE M44-7) after finding out the turntable didn't come with one. I u-tubed the installation, followed directions and WOW what a treat. Amazing performance, easy to navigate. Totally worthy investment!!!! I understand why this turntable is so highly recommended. I love it.

IT's great to able to listen to my stones albums again. Finally brought a great turntable without breaking the bank! But you have to set it up right! Take your time and it will be well worth it! You can buy a cartridge for a 100.00 bucks or under and enjoy this unit!
