Where I wrote "and use a vyce to securely hold one of the connectors"I meant after the 'further forward 'connectors have been undone (NOT 'at them') and if you still want to undo the ones right as the pump cradle mounting plate, find a way to hold one of the connectors firmly in a secured vyce (not easy) and gently but firmly work on the 'free' connector to try to free the hose from where it goes into the mounting plate...good practice is to replace the hoses. Not all have the 'connector' entry, some are slip-on but I think they may be different inside the tank..which may have something to do with the 'o' ring supplied. .
