1. My first impression/experience - This is a solid product. After carefully following the instructions that came with the synchronizer, I was able to successfully synchronize my Yamaha XV Virago 535. I was very surprised to see how far off my v-twins were from one another. Before buying this tool, I had tried to sync by bike by just listening to my exhaust and a series of sync screw adjustment/test riding, adjustment/test riding, etc. I swore I had it right but I was very wrong. This just proves that you can never perfectly sync your bike if you don't have the right tool. 2. Quality - top quality tool 3. Price - I would say it's definitely worth the price. I just wish it came with a hard plastic case. 4. Ease of use/performance - will require a 10 minute set up and calibration but is good to go after that. Fluctuation is very very minimal and the manual is crystal clear. It even provides a few tips and tricks and includes a FAQ section. 5. Would I recommend? Certainly. This is a must have for people seeking perfection on their bikes. Don't let anyone tell you they have "tuned up" your bike if you never saw them use a synchronizer such as this one. If it's a Motion Pro, rest assure it has been done right. I wanted to add images but don't see the option here. Thanks.Read full review

Got the tool in the mail and took it out of the package and assembled it like the instructions said while my bike was warming up. I had adjusted my carbs by eye and thought I did a pretty good job considered how it ran when I started. After calibrating the tool I hooked the four hoses to my four carbs and #4 was way off, it took maybe 10 minutes adjusting it then I could notice an immediate difference. My bike is an 03 Kawasaki Voyager xii. Thanks for an easy fix, I’d recommend this tool to anyone that works on their own bike or any shop that wants an easy way to sync carbs.

Once I figured out the theory, it was easy to use. The instructions were confusing so I wrote my own for the next time. Actually very easy and seemed to make a big difference in how my old 1984 Yamaha Venture Royale 1200DL runs.

This carb balancer should work well and certainly better and easier to use than the homemade setup I was planning. The biggest pain was purging the air from the fluid in the tubes. Easy to set up. Missing the needed cap to plug the sixth port on the common manifold but one is easily acquired from the parts store or the junk box on the garage. The hanging hook is very sturdy but difficult to close tight when installed (to prevent accidental loss).

You have to calibrate it each time before you use it. This is easy to do and adds to the accuracy of the tuner. The levels are nice and stable and easy to see. I also have a Carbtune and an electronic Optimax but prefer to use this.
