"The Unauthorised Review of GIRT"
Just as I expected, the author Graeme Simsion maintains his whimsical style of writing throughout this book, concentrating on lightheartedness that makes compelling reading. Who will ever know whether his imagination sometimes takes over from facts? After all, unlike the school students of history, his readers have no need to fear that examinations will follow. A recommended read!

If you wish to know something of early Australian history and you have a weird sense of humour, you will love DAVID HUNT and GIRT. Follow it up with his second book TRUE GIRT. Both are good light reading. Brian Milling
