I needed a solution to elevate a pair of small bookshelf speakers for use as upfiring Dolby Atmos speakers. These light weight, versatile speaker stands were my perfect solution. I stood the stands on my entertainment center, behind the HDTV, elevated the speakers to a high but safe height. I had already mounted the speaker facing up and angled an additional 10 degrees. rubber spacer supporting the higher back side of the speaker. Using the adjustable clamping of the stands, everything was tightened in place. Completed setup provides a good bounce of sound off the ceiling from about 28" from speakers to ceiling. Sounds good to me with no cutting or holes! these stands are a well made product with a lot of versatility in how they may be used. You get several adjustment choices, sturdiness, no show wiring ability, and great value! this is the win,win you need!Read full review

Don't put over about 10 lbs. of weight on these stands. Description stated they were rated for 30 lbs. but I put my 18 lb. JBLs on them and they just about fell over. The base is just too small to make the stand stay upright if using on carpet. Probably ok on cement or wood floor. The stand itself is made well and yes, the vertical weight load is strong enough, just don't use on carpet.

These stands are simple to assemble requiring no great knowledge other than a screw driver and reading ability. Top stand uses a side Philips head screw mechanism to tighten around the side of the speakers. I am using them with Bose Soundtouch 10 pair and they are set at 36” against a wall. With these stands it is almost impossible to localize the sound as it now seems to be coming from the whole side of the room. Stands can also be used to tilt speakers up or down approximately 10 degrees, by using the large screw into the top of the stand as it rotates on a plastic hub. Hole for wire on the pole appears to be for speaker wire and will not accommodate a power cord unless you can figure out how to back feed it into the notch in the pole. Well made and stable for the soundtouch 10 speakers. Bottom has adjustable Rubber screw type feet if you have an uneven floor to put them on, so you can level them out nicely. Shipping was extremely quick and came well packed with good visual instructions both on the box and inside. Also, nice touch was that it had included four self sticking Rubber bumpers strips to apply to the stands so as to not damage the speakers and to firmly hold them in place. I was stressing after I bought them and before I received them about finding rubber strips to install before using them. SELLER Might mention that in your listing, as it was a BIG BONUS and is important to know for me. Great Stands and would highly recommend them to anyone.Read full review

It works decently but I think it would help for it to be reinforced and I see it does has holes on the sides that may be customized with wood or any material that can screw on to make it more secure which is good. My speaker fell but I was lucky because it fell on a plastic storage bin, I will utilize the holes to make it more secure. I have saw other speaker stands and they don’t look secure at all because they just have a spot for the speaker to sit on the top but this grabs it from the sides to keep it in place.

Please take heed to other reviews. This stand is only good when used with lightweight/smaller speakers than what it claims it can support. The base should be wider to prevent easy tipping. Assembly is easy though....
