I tried a cheap Chinese one first but it hardly ran due to the poor electrics. Had to twist the switch back and forth and shake the thing to get it to run and the speed was always slowing, then speeding up and slowing again. Everything about the Norelco is good quality and the cutting blades work better than the rotary type in an older trimmer I'd used. I'm very satisfied.

Still getting use to it. Had two Panasonic nose trimmers which we loved however both stop working after mimimual use and Panasonic customer service is awful and they don't give a damn. Phillip is just the opposite. As to the Philip nose trimmer, it doesn't seem to cut unless you shove it deep into your nose canal and really work at trimming nose hairs. Maybe about ten minutes of use to remove nose hairs and it still was hit and miss. Again Phillip's is completely different design from Panasonic so this may take some time to use and get comfortable with. So jury is still out for us.

I picked this trimmer after researching for top trimmers on the market. This particular one was always falling into top 5 products in 2019-2020. Pros: 1) easy to open for battery replacement 2) runs on AA battery 3) activates with a switch 4) safe to use, do not pull hair, effective 5) contains accessoires to trim eyebrows, nose, ears, beard, mustach (other trimmers often lack additional aplications besides main goal - trimms only nose, for example) 6) compact, features carrying pouch for travelling an keeping accessoires altogether 7) splashproof, can be cleaned with water Cons: battery compartment is flimsy

Works great for me- easy to use, doesn't nick or cut, waterproof. Great trimmer for a good price. Definitely recommend

The Philips Norelco is more comfortable for nose and ears than the other two brands that I have tried. Water cleanup of the cutting head after each use is a real plus! It uses an AA battery which outperforms a top brand that uses an AAA battery and still is not bulky in the hand. I like the eyebrow comb attachment because I wear glasses and because an overgrown hair can irritate the eyeball when I sleep. It is inexpensive enough to replace once a year if necessary.
