Easy to use with more power than main cleaner. Fills up fairly quickly but able to clean quickly and efficiently. Difficult to empty requires some fiddling to do so. It appears the red push down lever doesn't unlock the door and one has to push the lever down manually with your fingers which is awkward to do. Not sure if there is a fault in the machine or that is how it is supposed to operate, either way it is unsatisfactory. Otherwise works well.

Watch out battery life! Been using it for just 22months with Max power only, Suddenly after 2 minutes battery ran out. Called Dyson service centre and explaiend what happened. They said if I wanna use battery longer I need to alternate between max and medium power because if I use max power only, battery won't last long. right,,,, so.. we don't buy something to use 2 years only.... furthermore, if they want us to use medium power only to extend battery life, why they even creat Max mode...does not make sense at all. Well I said to them "I only use max, not intending to use medium at all, and it's under warranty mate," So they sent me brand new battery pack. Conclusion, if you wanna use it longer, use it medium power, Wanna use Max power only?? Better call Dyson before warranty expires.Read full review

What a difference this vacuum makes! It's impressive what it pulls up from the carpet compared to the old Dyson with no motor head. The battery lasts the distance for vacuuming a 3 bedroom house occupied by two people and two cats. The head can seem heavy at first, but you hardly notice it after some use. Very handy in the car.
