A solid and stable aerial video/photography platform
First DJI quadcopter I've owned. I can see what all the fuss is about. I have build mid-sized multi-rotors myself, and smaller FPV quads (similar in size to this Mavic Mini, but a bit heavier). The FPV drones are a little twitchy as you'd expect, and quite fast, whereas this Mavic Mini is a refined and solid platform. I would encourage anybody getting a drone to learn to fly line of sight (watching the aircraft and learning to control it no matter what orientation), but I can see how these DJI drones enable pretty much anybody to pick up a controller and start flying. Footage is tremendously good for the price range. Stabilization is dialled in very, very well. Certainly my initial footage with moderate to fast motion shows up the limitations of a fixed aperture lens in our bright Australian daylight, but an ND filter will bring things back to a nice cinematic look. As a keen amateur photographer, and an experienced RC hobbyist, the Mavic Mini still blows my socks off! If you see one at a good price - just grab it!Verified purchase: YesCondition: New
