Backup for a critical part.
I've had my Minn Kota Terrova for several years now. No problem with this item. Bought it as a spare. Will place this on the shaft and should the original break I can just slip this one down and I'm back in business. Just in case...

15 minute repair
This item was very easy to replace. There were 4 screws on the underside of the head, one attaching the head to the shaft, and two holding wires down to be removed. Once removed, the head could be loosened, broken part removed and replacement collar installed. Now it's time to get back to fishing.
