They are fairly cheap benches. So I didn't expect much. They DO look good for their price, that is not a problem. The problem is the leg mounting timber to is not aligned well on 3 of the 4 legs. This means the legs are not aligned (they're not vertical) when attached to the bench top. The small mounting for the legs is also weak. It needs some high quality glue, or stronger fasteners, or both. I had one bench collapse forward when a small woman sat on it. (Yes, I assembled them correctly, I have an engineering degree). The bench is not currently being used until I add stronger fasteners, some high strength 'Liquid Nails' glue to the mounting brackets and then shim the legs so they are vertical. Hopefully this will make them safe. As I said, they look good. And it could be a really great product if the brackets were aligned and strengthened.Read full review
