Good modem, value for money
Shouldn't need this but due to NBN FTTN requiring VDSL, have to buy one. This little modem is great if already have an existing good working modem+router from previous ADSL service or a standalone router such as Airport Extreme. No need to spend $100+ buying another WIFI router+modem. Just get this simple modem, set the modem to VDSL, specify the service provider, add username and password, and try to connect and verify connection to NBN is good. Then switch the modem to bridge mode and let the original modem+router takes control of the account authentication with ISP and provide WIFI connection to the rest of your devices at home. This modem only works with PPPoE via VDSL, not suitable if your NBN ISP uses IPoE.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Yes it is very good but..
The only real complaint I have, and it is not small, is that nowhere does it mention that it is also a router (and that includes the eBay description), which is what I wanted, just a plain adsl 2+ modem. Now the setup of the DM200 in bridge mode is painful and I still do not know if it will work with my Nighthawk R7000. It looks great but it may still have to go back on eBay yet. Ok for its price
This device works but has issues with drop out where factory reset seems to be the only thing to fix it. Its cheap and you get what you pay for. Also netgears customer support is next to usless.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Functional and inexpensive
This modem was VERY frustrating to initially configure as it wouldn't communicate with my laptop unless I had an active Internet connection. Once I had configured it enough that the modem was no longer showing me the wizard it responds as per usual (regardless of Internet connection).
