Quality. Affordability. Versatility Lens
Very nice quality and built lens. Produces very sharp images for an affordable price. Perfect for APS-C crop sensor and mirrorless DSLR cameras. An all around lens. The only missing point on this lens is image stabilization, specially for videographers and vloggers. But if you know what your doing, you will still get awesome cinematic videos and very good results. Great in taking photos with sharp images and dramatic shots specially in low light situations. Very versatile and one of the best lenses I ever had.

Not worth it
I have been using this lens over 6 months now. This lens does not provide sharp images in low light. Not having image stabilisation make a big difference. Though it is mentioned it has f1.8 to counter image stabilisation, we will not be taking all photos in f1.8.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Amazing Quality at an affordable price.
WOW...WOW...WOW...What else can I say...! I already own a few Sigma lenses but I was looking for something special in regards to primes and more versatility. Sigma has really lifted and inovated their lens range into new heights. So much so they're giving the more obvious brands a real run for their money [and they're charging a hell of a lot more for theirs]. The inovative quality of this lens is amazing. Everything feels really solid, heavy and smooth, it alomost feels like aircraft quality. The focus ring is nice and tight giving you much smoother, effortless control. The Zoom ring is of the same high standard and has very little travel from 18mm to the 35mm, therefore it's very easy to control with very small movements, which means greater stability. The clarity of the glass is pin sharp. Having a constant f1.8 in a range from 18mm to 35mm is the equivalant of carrying several prime lenses, with the quality results you'd expect from a prime without the bulk of several primes in your bag. Even the lens hood feels high quality, with a silky smooth feel and a nice firm, smooth locking 'click' when positioned. I was blown away by the incredible quality in this sigma lens.
