I just replaced my AC compressor clutch because the bearings were bad causing it to lock up occasionally. Luckily it didnt ruin my belt. My 1999 ford expedition has 197,000 on it. It's running strong and reliable with some preventative maintenance. The idler pulley, tensioner, and compressor pulley/ clutch were all original. So, While I was replacing the clutch, I decided to replace the idler pulley and tensioner as cheap insurance. Theyll go sooner or later. After a week and 200 miles, it's working great as expected. Now I keep the old idler pulley and tensioner which are still good, just old, in a spare parts bin along with a belt and ignition coil assembly. Anyways, its from Dorman... a reputable company... so I trust I'll get at least a couple years out of it before I retire this old Ford.Read full review

quick shipping, good price, very easy install. This pulley matched the quality of the one it replaces that I bought from a national auto parts store, for a much lower price.

The idler pulley worked great and I saved mucho dinero versus buying at the parts store in town. It’s working as advertised for me with no complaints! It appears to have quality bearings and is well made. Don’t fear your purchase if this is what you need.

I bought this to replace one on my 95 diesel. Change out was easy with the proper Torxs socket. It fit great and removed the squeak that I was having with my old one. After change out could feel the roughness of the bearing. Excellent value for the money.
