Cheap, but slow
This type of sandwich maker is hard to find because most of them split each sandwich in the middle rather than a complete depression for food. Those are useless for filling such as eggs. This model is thus one of the few which will let you do a complete filling without each sandwich being subdivided. This one certainly does the job, but mine is painfully slow to cook, taking several minutes more than the one it replaced. However, I can't recommend any others as this seems to be the only deep dish sandwich maker out there!Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Its ok, but I am comparing it to the old sunbeam which is a great jaffle maker.
The toaster takes quite along time to toast the bread to nice and crispy. Any filling thats inside by this time is over cooked. I have found you need to turn it on and let it heat up for at least five minutes before placing the bread and filling, this way the bread toasts quicker and the filling not so cooked. Cheap but effective machine.
Cooks the toasties well and is easy to clean, however there are a few areas that food can get trapped around the main body. And there is too much area taken up where the toasty seals, but you can still pack the toasty better than the machines that cut into 2 or 4 pieces. Making a Simple Tasty Toasty Meal!
It does the job of toasting my sandwiches; had to leave all the slice on the bread else i lose some of the contents out of the sides! Works well and quickly as long as i don't worry about the "hiss and fizz"! The clip to seal the sandwich needs a hard press to fix into place. A good product. Deep dish sandwich maker--
The unit took good fillings of cheese, ham and tomato. Large eggs were a problem, I had to use small size eggs. I think the receptacle for the fillings could have been made bigger as the toasted edge around the sandwich is quite big. A narrower edge around the sandwich would have allowed more filling. Not worth buying
This is the worst electrical product I have ever brought online. Looks nice but after using it I was very dissapointed. The green light goes on to tell you its okay to start using it but it keeps on coming on telling you its trying to keep its temperature steady . I initially cooked the bread without butter but it didnt brown up. So i tried it with butter but other than a little browning it didnt make much differarance ( not good for the weight conscience) Plus the bread wasnt very nice . A little disappointing but okay.
Cons: The power cord is short (about 120cm) which is quite limiting for bench placement. It doesn't seem to get hot enough to crisp up the toast. Pros: It is deep enough to break an egg into the bread sandwich which is what I wanted if for mainly.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Great little item
Only draw back is if their is a overflow from the filling it gets inside the unit and into the electrical bits. only way to clean is pull it apart. Cheap rubish product that does not work properly.
Does not toast the bread properly. It took donkey ages just to partly toasted the bread and it toasted unevenly. On one side it is toasting the bread. I had cheese leaking out to the back , it covered the cord and it took a while to clean up. Disappointing
Not as wide or deep as old Sunbeam one. Only difference between this and the one that cuts (nearly) sandwiches in half is that the cutting part is no longer there. Disappointing as cannot help comparing to Sunbeam which was great.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New
