Good while it lasted
I'm not a coffee drinker. I bought this grinder to grind some herbs I had for a Chinese tea. This product was well built for the price. It was easy assemble and easy to use. There was a clear top on the grinder so you could see the progress of the grinding. There was only setting though. During the grinding the herbs began to get stuck underneath the blades and they stopped turning. I had to remove the top and clean them out a couple of times. In the product's defense, the herbs were a little sticky or fresh. So that might be the problem. But it did continue to happen. I held down the power button to see if the blades would eventually move over the herbs. Not for long mind you..but then I saw smoke coming out near the power button. And it totally stopped working. I only used this for 10 minutes. It burned up after that amount of time. That's why I gave it a four star. Either it wasn't built very well or it was my fault. I do think used for its original purpose of grinding coffee beans, it would work great and last much longer. It seemed like a good product. The burnout was probably my fault. So if you are a coffee drinker and want this grinder I say get it. It does work well for that purpose I'm sure.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

If you are a homebody that likes using fresh dried herbs and spices or their own blend/grind of coffee this little fella does the job. I raise and dry many of my own spices and chili peppers. This is an identical replacement, mine broke after 15 years. It has a good run! I loved it so much I bought the exact same model again.
