Not powerful but does a great job...
This isn't a powerful machine at only 500w but it cleaned light stains and soiling well. The water tank is small and you can't do much more than a 1m square without needing to refill that tank which is frustrating. You do need to give heavier stained areas a few goings over and pull the machine slowly back towards you to ensure the majority of water is sucked up, then throw down some towels and let it dry. For small stains, traffic areas, pet stains it's much easier than scrubbing on your hands and knees with a foaming carpet cleaner. Do I recommend? Yes. It saves your back, your knees and drags out a lot of dirt you didn't think was in the carpet in the first place. For the shampoo I purchased the Rug Doctor shampoo at Bunnings and it left the room smelling clean and not overpowering which is good for asthmatics.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New
